Her mother was Agnes (Dickinson) and her father was John Ormandy. They lived in Dalton in Furness, Lancashire, England. She had one sister and 4 brothers. She married Thomas Sale in February of 1840. They had a daughter named Agnes born that same year and Christened on the 18th of October 1840. She passed away at an early in 1877 in the same town she was born in.
