Little Cross Huffcap Age:1 YR deeper red in the sunA Welsh perry pear from Newport, Gwent. A round, green fruit with some dark red flush in the sun. Some russet. Flowers mid April. Discovered by Dave Matthews at Little Cross Farm near Newport. High tannin and high acidity. Permission to use photograph by the Welsh Perry and Cider Society is gratefully acknowledged.
