Description

“The Hangout” Someone sent me a black and white 1960’s photo of a Sandy’s Hamburger Restaurant

“The Generation Gap” shows a black C5 coupe beside an old Nehi Soda sign complete with a Nehi bottle and shapely legs in a knee-high skirt

It shows at least one Corvette of each color available in 1967

Bob’s Big Boy is a typical drive-in found in Southern California

The title “The Hangout” seemed perfect for the hamburger place and the crowd of kids around the outside of the spot

"Cruising Winstead's" 1963-1967 “The Hangout” Someone sent meMy previous two images of Winsteads, a Kansas City landmark, sold out quickly. Constant requests for another series prompted me to create Cruising Winsteads. Because it was THE place to cruise in the 50s and 60s, this image features a black and silver 1961 Corvette entering the area beside the drive in.
