Thanks to the Shift ability on this card, it can be played as soon as the player has five Ink available to them, so long as there's another card named Dr
The Bargain mechanic will add enough mana to use this Dragon's damage-dealing ability twice up front, great for picking off flying defenders or even taking out low-loyalty Planeswalkers
[casthaven]Rashmi, Eternities Crafter[/casthaven] The obvious analogues for [casthaven]Rashmi, Eternities Crafter[/casthaven] are [casthaven]Momir Vig, Simic Visionary[/casthaven] (just reprinted in foil in From the Vault: Lore) and [casthaven]Maelstrom Wanderer[/casthaven], so thats a pretty good place for a card to begin
Good in a dedicated mill deck, but narrow otherwise
Ive already mentioned Sun Titan, but I also love its little sibling Guardian Scalelord, since its backup ability can let you bring back a nonland permanent from the graveyard right away, just like Sun Titan
